Currently on display in the "Objects of Wonder" exhibit, which contains items from all departments in the museum. The exhibit is open until at least 2021, and includes odd items such as whale "earwax" and Samurai armor given to President Theodore Roosevelt. Some objects cannot survive permanent display -- even low light will damage them -- which is probably why Martha is not always on exhibit.

According to tipster and Martha fan Sharon Sweet: "They are in the process of renovating the bird section and currently have no plans to return Martha to display in the near future....
