Woolly Mammoth
The last tip was one year ago, and it mentioned Woolly was not aging well. It's sad but true. He's still there and another year older.
[Rose Howe, 10/25/2022]The Mammoth is showing its age. The free (for a donation) museum is a must-see, and the owners are great people. The displays are really nice (You have to find the smoking fish).

Driving through Northern Michigan while making a detour, we stumbled upon Guntziller's Spirit of the Woods Museum. We arrived long after closing time, but we did snap a few photos of the amazing woolly mammoth statue out front.
