Willcox, Arizona: Grave of Wyatt Earp's Kid Brother

Warren Earp died in a drunken barroom gunfight in 1900. His Wild-West-theme metal tombstone was obviously placed on his grave many years later.

Directions:
East edge of town. From US-10 BUS/Haskell Ave. turn east at the stoplight onto AZ-186/Maley St. Cross the train tracks, then turn left onto Third Ave. Drive north to the cemetery, on the right. Warren's grave is at the back: a tall, dark metal tombstone atop a block of concrete.

You have to wonder how tired he must have been of saying, "No, I'm WARREN, not Wyatt." Even the big metal plaque on his grave is reserved for the names of its sponsors. Nothing about him at all.
