LGBTQ+ Memorial Honoring Pulse Nightclub Victims

A beautiful and simple landscaped memorial stands in Hudson River Park on the Hudson River between Bethune and West 12th Streets. It is a series of rocks with prisms in the center that light up rainbow colors at night. In the center of the two largest rocks is a quote. You can stick your head in to read it or, if you're skinny enough, shimmy through!

[Gary Spino, 10/23/2023]

A dull, traditional tribute would merely bolt a plaque to a rock. We appreciate memorials that use rocks in new and creative ways.
