Trent Lott's Head is gone again! I went by Trent Lott Middle School - the cage is still there, but the front and back have been removed (you can still see the rust stains where they were, though). And the pedestal is there, but Trent Lott's head is gone!
[Virginia Hench, 06/03/2005]A 50-lb. bronze version of Trent Lott's head has been recovered by police after it was stolen from the lawn of the Trent Lott Middle School, Pascagoula, MS on May 31....
[06/03/2003] Complete News StoryOn a recent trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I got to see U.S. Senator Trent Lott's head residing in a cage in front of the middle school in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The reason for the cage is that the head has already been vandalized once (at least), so it is now inside an approximately 6x10ft, 8ft tall wrought iron cage, akin to an old west jail cell. You can look all day for free -- you just can't touch.
The best part is the hair looks exactly like the senator's normally does on CSPAN!
