Bob Dylan's Boyhood Home.

Bob Dylan's Boyhood Home

Field review by the editors.

Duluth, Minnesota

For Bob Dylan diehard fans and completists, the plain duplex house on North Third Avenue is a necessary stop. Dylan, aka Robert Zimmerman, was born in Duluth in 1941, and his parents lived on the second floor here. By age six, Bob's family moved to Hibbing, the more famous of the Dylan heritage sites.

The Duluth house was last reported owned by a Dylan devotee, but it is not a museum and has no sign or plaque. Duluth started up a Dylan Fest in 2011.
