Lee Harvey Oswald's Boarding Room
Dallas, Texas
Texas has not one, but two Lee Harvey Oswald houses associated with the assassination of President Kennedy, which makes sorting them out almost as confusing as unraveling Oswald's involvement. This house is the one in which Oswald rented a room during the weeks that he worked at the Texas School Book Depository. Under unusual circumstances, he did not stay in this house the weekday night before the assassination (he went to the other house) but he did come here right afterward, apparently picked up a pistol that he owned, and only a few minutes later used it to shoot policeman J.D. Tippit. It makes little sense, but not much does with Oswald and the assassination.
