Dinosaurs at Moab Giants
Moab, Utah
A half-mile outdoor trail winds through sagebrush populated with 33 different kinds of life-size dinosaur statues, all claimed to be as scientifically realistic as possible. Some (but not all) stomped around this part of Utah millions of years ago. There are old favorites such as Diplodocus and Tyrannosaurus, and less-familiar horrors such as Tanycolagreus and Zhejiangopterus.
Because this is a modern dino park, there are other attractions besides the hot, dusty, stationary dinosaurs. Visitors can play paleontologist and dig fake dino bones out of the dirt, then go inside to see museum displays of dinosaur footprints found in the area, and experience Jurassic-World-style aquatic thrills in the "5D Prehistoric Aquarium."
