Pee Man
Fort Myers, Florida
Sculpted in 2016 out of rusty iron, using hydraulic machines, by Colombian artist Edgardo Carmona. Officially titled "Territorio" -- unofficially known as "Pee Man" -- it depicts a man and a dog marking their territory by relieving themselves against a lamp post.
The statue was part of a publicity campaign for a failed condominium project named "Allure." It was only supposed to be in Fort Myers for three months, but Pee Man proved so popular -- despite some residents branding it obscene -- that the city purchased the sculpture and has kept it on display permanently.
