Thomas Edison Statue Statue of Thomas Edison standing in front of the Banyan tree he planted, was the first Banyan tree in the United States and was 4-feet tall when he planted it, it is now huge and is a champion tree. There are 4 champion trees on his property which now belongs to the taxpayers, His home is here, next to Henry Ford's home and his laboratory and gardens.
