The clock was purchased by Walnut Creek Cheese, Walnut Creek, Ohio. It has not been moved yet, Walnut Creek Cheese is in the process of donating the clock to the town of Sugarcreek, Ohio, aka "The Little Switzerland of Ohio," where it will find its new home. No exact location or timetable has been established for the move.[Walnut Creek Cheese, 03/10/2010]
On Labor Day we went to Amish Country to the Amish Door restaurant, which is a few miles away from the Cuckoo Clock.
I decided to ask our sweet server about the clock. I was so surprised she had an answer for me! She said that 2 weeks ago they were auctioning off all the items in the restaurant part of the building and that someone from Walnut Creek actually bought the clock! She heard it was a cheese place. She was as excited as I was about this and we both hope they can move the clock and get it going for everyone to enjoy. I can finally quit circling that building every time I go down there![Barb Shroka, 09/11/2009]
