Dinosaur Not So National Park
From big ones to winged ones, this roadside attraction has them all. Started less than twenty years ago as a joke, Mr. Robert Dorris has carefully and thoughtfully welded each of his near twenty dinosaurs to perfection. He took the name from the real national park, and from there his story begins. His wife said that at first he just made small ones for her desk, but both of their children urged him to go bigger. She also said that after going to the Smithsonian in D.C. he was inspired to build the largest one, which is over thirty feet long.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Dorris welcome visitors to drive in, photograph and enjoy the sculptures. They would also really enjoy it if you stoped at the house to speak to them.
