A museum and a video theater that tells the story of granite. On a guided shuttle tour, you can peer down into the vast granite pits.

- SE of Barre -- I-89 Exit 6 take Hwy 63 East, then left/north on Route 14 to South Barre. As you enter South Barre, there will be a Ford Dealership on your left. Just past the dealership is a traffic light. At the light, bear right onto Middle Hill Road. Proceed straight up Middle Hill Road. As the grade begins to level off, look for the Lazy Lion Campground on your left. Visitors Center is to the left.
