Bridge To Nowhere

This is a fun place to stop and check out the bridge. Come during Fall/early spring and have a bite to eat at the farm that's at the base. It's a U-Pick farm of seasonal produce. They have great quirky homemade gifts and awesome food. The carne asada tacos are some of the best in town, and the salsa bar show off the wonderful talents of the local cooks. [jen, 04/27/2014]
Bridge To Nowhere

The story goes that this bridge was built before the Golden Gate Bridge because this was a test or trial to see if the expansion bridge would work. Mock Golden Gate Bridge.

The gate / fence is pulled back now, so you can walk from one end of the bridge to the other.

Bridge to Nowhere

Easy to see the bridge from the road. You can tell teenagers go there when it gets dark, lots of graffiti. A couple fences where broken into when we got there so we could walk right up to the bridge, but you can't see the other side, and it was too hot (111 F) to try and walk our way across it.
