Pinkie the Pink Elephant
Painting updated and he is looking fresh. As I understand it, Pinkie's hipster glasses were once sunglasses, but I like the switch better. This elephant isn't fiberglass, it's tough enough for folks to sit on. Also, on the other side of the highway is a giant cow.[Taylor, 09/27/2015]

A rare Pink Elephant with its own historical plaque. And a Shemp haircut!
We have over 600 miles to drive today, but I just had to stop and see this guy! Thanks to the new owners for keeping it going. I don't mind the stickers and graffiti, it just makes it more of a hipster elephant.[Bridget, 08/04/2013]
Pinkie's owner had the elephant repainted in 2014, and has asked visitors to please stop the graffiti.
This pink elephant has not moved. It's been in the same spot since the 1960s. It's in front of a Holiday gas station. You can buy pink elephant stickers and magnets inside.[Cat, 08/08/2011]
