Stone erected August 18, 1932 shows high water levels in the city of Gallipolis, Ohio from the Ohio River. High water markers: Feb. 11, 1884 at 63'11". March 17, 1907 at 58'. March 30, 1913 at 66.5' which killed 467. Jan. 1937's flood was even higher, cresting 14 ft. above the flood wall.
