Meershaum Corn Cob Pipe Museum My girlfriend finally caved in and let me visit the Corn Cob Pipe Museum in Washington, MO yesterday. While the Meershaum building is huge, the museum itself is in a 30 x 15 ft. room near the offices. Hundreds of pipes are displayed in cases on the walls, including one made of stone and another that's over a foot long and carved out of wood.
Admission is free and you should have your fill of corn cob pipes in fifteen minutes or less. [Dan Schwent, 08/17/2009]
