Pigeon Forge, Tennessee: Three Bears General Store - Live Bears

We went into the Three Bears General Store ready to visit the live bears. It was later in the evening, and right at the end of the last scheduled feeding time. We were charged $3.25 to enter, plus the cost of food to toss to the cubs. We only noticed three of them. Well worth the experience, but as we exited, the people that were entering were told it was now free. The store itself is a mash up of different items and souvenirs, as well as fudge samples and a selection of sauces and trinkets.

Better souvenir shop than most of the other ones on the strip, and the added attraction of seeing the bears was neat. Go at feeding time as the bears may be more active (11-12pm, 3-4pm, and one later time too). The cost of $3.25 per person was a little high but at least you now can say you saw some black bears in the Smoky Mountains!

Christus Gardens isn't the only Tennessee attraction seeing redemption. The Three Bears, which burned down last year has been rebuilt, complete with bear pits.
