Culver City Ice, opened in 1961, unfortunately closed in Feb 2015 after 53 years in business. They lost their lease when a developer greatly increases their rent. The building remains vacant a year later and the historic signs still stand as of Feb 2016.

Statue of an ice skater on the roof of the Culver Ice Arena. She looks to be bigger than life size and she might be fiberglass? It kind of reminded me of the Uniroyal Gal.
