Skull Tree We stumbled upon this site while traveling through Oklahoma. A large tree in someone's front yard is covered in skulls.
The skulls are of various creatures - we could identify deer, cows, horses, sheep, and rams. As we were checking it out, the homeowner came out to say hello. She offered one of our boys a split skull (with antler attached) as a souvenir and explained that the tree once had a long chain hanging from a branch that had several more skulls attached but it had broken off and fallen in a recent storm.
