Blackfoot, Idaho: Uniroyal Gal

No longer flaunting her wares in a bikini, the giant waitress at Martha's Cafe returned from a recent makeover with a big honking diamond ring on her finger. This gal has been a Blackfoot resident for decades.

Uniroyal Gal

One of the nicest looking Uniroyal Gals. She's got a beautiful coat of paint and advertises the diner on her apron.

Martha's Cafe - Uniroyal Gal

There's a giant fiberglass waitress next to Martha's Cafe. Similar to a Muffler Man, but a woman. Very well done I think.

[Tony Mueller, 01/03/2015]

The waitress is classified by us as a Uniroyal Gal, so named because she and her many sisters were originally built to stand in front of Uniroyal dealerships, holding tires.

Ring on the Uniroyal Gal.

Uniroyal Gal, Engaged!

The Uniroyal Gal gets engaged. Notice the big "diamond" ring. No wedding date has been set as far as I know.

Had a nice chat with the manager at Martha's Cafe, who said that the Uniroyal Gal's plate of fries will be put back up as soon as Martha's can figure out how to stop birds from eating the styrofoam.

This tall lady looks like she's showing off the big rock on her finger, and sports a new coat of paint.

Her huge plate of french fries has been retired, but it's nice to see that her makeover retained her retro-wristwatch.
