This hefty Boston Rocker is along the edge of the parking lot for a furniture store on Highway 45 north of town. Seat is about 8 ft off the ground; we'd guess height at 18-20 ft. tall. Not the biggest rocking chair in the land, but decent enough for Ohio travelers between the Ashtabula train wreck monuments and the One and Only Presidential Museum.
[RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 10/11/2007]Claims to be the world's largest wooden rocking chair. Featured by Neal Zurcker. You would need a long ladder to get to the "seat." Sometimes they decorated it at Christmas with lights. This place makes gazebos, swing sets, shed, and wooden things of this nature.
[Renee Hanyok, 11/18/2001]A 20 ft.+ tall red wooden rocking chair is on display at Conner's (?) Garden center on St. Rt. 18 on the western edge of Austinburg, OH. In the fall a rather large scarecrow occupies the chair.
