Stratton, Colorado: Milepost 419.99 (Gone)
With the legalization of marijuana, Colorado replaced I-70's milepost 420 with a milepost 419.99, to discourage potential thieves. Didn't work; the sign was usually missing. Mar. 2019: Reported will no longer be replaced.

Mile Marker 419.99
Colorado, the first state to legalize recreational marijuana, is cracking down on souvenir-takers. Three-quarters of a mile east of the Stratton exit on westbound I-70 stood mile marker 420. In fact, it stood many times as pot enthusiasts kept swiping it. Getting wise to them, the Colorado Department of Transportation has now relocated the marker 1/100th mile to the west, where motorists shall now pass Mile Marker 419.99 en route to the Mile High City.
