Visitor Tips and News About Dutch Wonderland
This is a small theme park, built in the early 1960s. It has the only operating theme park monorail in the U.S. that we know of, outside of Disney. Inside the park, near a fiberglass cow that kids can milk, is a tiny, air-conditioned church. It seats about eight adults.[Roadsideamerica.com Team, 09/01/2005]
May 2007: The contents of Dutch Wonderland Wax Museum have been auctioned off -- about 100 figures, props, and items from the surrounding dioramas. One wonders who bought the little boy with his finger in the dike, and why....August 2014: Photo added.
Dutch Wonderland is a theme park built back in the early 60's. Lots to see, old carnival rides, a few newer rides. There's a "helter skelter" slide kids love. Near the fiberglass cow that kids can actually milk is a small church. Nice refuge on a hot day since it's air conditioned and most people walk right past it. Seats about 8 adults.[PLC, 05/21/2002]
