Slug Bug Ranch Slug Bug Ranch is a quirky version of Cadillac Ranch. Not so much a copy as it is its own interesting roadside attraction. Super easy to get to, right on the service road. There's also an old 1930s car. Bring your spray paint!

VW Slug Bug Ranch The Bug Ranch is impossible to miss when you exit from I-40, but when you arrive from Amarillo by Route 66 don't forget to turn left in Conway, just like if you wanted to go on I-40. The place is totally abandoned now, but worth the trip -- it's so unusual.

Slug Bug Ranch The Slug Bug Ranch is spray painted by visitors, just like Cadillac Ranch.

[The Irish Cowgirl, 01/12/2009]Don't forget to stop and pick up some spray paint before you make the trek to the VW Bug Ranch and the Cadillac Ranch. You're encouraged to leave your mark at both sites.
