The sculpture of the Lighthouse Keeper and His Dog was installed in Spring 2020, and is on loan to the City of Port Clinton. There is also a lighthouse adjacent to the statue. It was built in 1896 and was restored and moved to its current spot in 2016.
[Ducks5921, 11/23/2020]Sculptor Andy Sacksteder said it took 15 tries to get the dog and man positioned so their eyes met.
