Bat Tornado at Dusk

An old railroad tunnel that ran between Fredericksburg and Boerne is now inhabited by thousands and thousands of bats....that come out at nightfall...kinda like a bat tornado. Interesting aroma to boot. There is no charge to view, though donations accepted. I have lived in Boerne for seven years and just saw this a month or two ago. [Laurie, 09/02/2003]
