Sign: World's First Rodeo.

World's First Rodeo

On July 4, 1883, Pecos was the site of the World's First Rodeo. This tradition continues each summer at the Buck Jackson Arena, where it has been held every year since 1936. Today it is one of the PRCA's top 40 prize-money rodeos.
