I don't know where [the previous tipster got his] information, but it's wrong. The McEachern High School class of 1973 gave the Indian as their gift back to the school when they graduated that year. They bought it from Tabor Pontiac, a new car dealership located on Peachtree St. in Buckhead. [Philip Morris, 03/16/2009]

Muffler Man Indian

The "Muffler Man" that is said to be at McEachern High School is not a M.M. It was built in the 1950s (or slightly later) because they are the Indians. The arm is in a "Hitler Salute" as the students call it. I can see how someone would get confused on that, though! [Matthew, 07/04/2004]
