I heard lore of a stuck drone on the smokestack Beetle, so I flew a drone up to investigate. I found it on the rear bumper. Legendary.

The stuck drone is a relatively recent addition to the Beetle, which has been sitting on that smokestack since the last century.

Vintage Volkswagen Beetle on top of an old brick smokestack. Amsterdam, NY was once headquarters for Mohawk Carpet Mills. You would have expected a rug on a smokestack, but I guess things change. Kirk Douglas also grew up here.

Car on a Smoke Stack

Here's an oddity I came across this weekend while doing a little exploring in the Mohawk Valley. On Route 5...just less than a mile west of the city of Amsterdam and just opposite the Guy Park Manor historic site...there is a vintage red VW Beetle perched atop an old brick smoke stack.
