Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center

The Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center opened this fall in downtown Warrens, Wisconsin. Housed in a renovated cranberry warehouse, the Discovery Center features an exhibit hall, gift shop, bakery and old-fashioned ice cream parlor serving six flavors of cranberry ice cream. Warrens is the "Cranberry Capital" of Wisconsin. Roughly two-thirds of Wisconsin 240 cranberry growers are in the Warrens, Tomah, Wisconsin Rapids area. [Lorry, 10/16/2004]
