Every Day is Christmas on America's Highways

Santa statue.

Santa Claus, Indiana

Another popular mail destination for good girls and boys, the town has been named such since 1852. At one time, children all over the world might receive a letter from Santa Claus, Indiana. The town has been in the Christmas tourism business long enough that it has a Santa Claus Museum, and its original Santa statue, retired on a hill.

Today, Santa Claus still thrives on the anytime holiday concept. You'll find a profusion of Santa and Christmas-related statues and businesses, the Candy Castle, and a theme park called Holiday World.
