- Take the Hwy 99 Central Modesto exit. Drive parallel to the highway, then turn east onto I St. Statue on left, on the northwest corner of I and 15th Sts.
No signs or flag pole directing you to the location of the memorial on grass field. Just look for V Shaped Walls. Road access was blocked off on two ends by barrier gate and only accessible by foot, bicycle and motorcycle. No sidewalk and square curb along street. making it challenging for handicapped.
The memorial is not complete yet. Memorials for the Revolutionary War, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom have not been erected yet. No water fountain or benches yet. Two porta-johns are located across the roadway.

A glittery metal junk castle is a one-man project. Cano claims that God built it. A fire in Jan. 2022 burned the adjacent house, but spared the castle and Cano.

Performing animal attraction opened in the Miami area in 1936. Moved and became Parrot Jungle Island, then Jungle Island, then closed during the pandemic. Owners hope to eventually reopen the property as a hotel and human resort with a few animals.
