Port Costa Mercantile is a really crazy store with a huge Doggie Diner Head inside on display.

Dog head sign from the last operating Doggie Diner has been preserved on a pole on the boulevard median.

Nice stop. There's good street parking and it's very close to the zoo and the beach. It's really the head of a dog chef. Quirky!

The Doggie Diner head has been parked in a fenced-in lot since 2018. A sign on the adjacent building advertises the Doggie Diner, but is just another relic; there's no diner here.
