A shoe tree has begun to sprout shoes in southern Reno. Most shoe trees are in the middle of nowhere, but this shoe tree is within city limits. My best guess is that there are 100+ pairs of shoes currently hanging on the tree, with many more shoes on the ground. The tree is quite large and appears strong and healthy, so there is no chance of it toppling over, although occasionally branches do break from the weight of shoes. There's a pull out next to the tree, so it's easy for people to safely exit their vehicle and add shoes to the tree.
