Mardi Gras Museum

Field review by the editors.

Bossier City, Louisiana

Mardi Gras celebrations take place in more places than New Orleans; in fact, they pop up hundreds of miles away, in places ranging from parade museums to furniture stores. Mardi Gras is big even in other cities in Louisiana -- like this one -- so we really shouldn't have been surprised when we came upon this place.

But we were, and it wasn't open.
