Driskill Mountain is misleadingly named: the highest point is only 535 feet above sea level.

- On the north side of LA-507, either 7.5 miles east of Bienville or 2.5 miles west of LA-507's intersection with LA-147. Park at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, then follow the trail to the highest point.

Driskill Mountain is Louisiana's highest point at 535 feet above sea level. There is a state historical marker just off of the highway with information about the mountain. The Bienville Parish Police Jury and I erected the state marker at the site.
