Ole Hardhide: Town Gator
Ole Hardhide lived in the center of town in a big, open-air enclosure. She retired to a nearby gator farm in March 2023.

[Daniel, 01/06/2024]Sit down literally beside an alligator. The cage is beautiful and clean. Looks well-maintained. The town is great, easy to navigate around. One of the main reasons we came was to visit the alligator. Could use a large sign showing where to find him. Otherwise you wouldn't know he was there.
[Melissa Dickerson, 07/17/2017]Gator was cool but slightly depressing, since he is alone in a small enclosure. There are tons of antique stores nearby, which make the detour worthwhile.

Old Hardhide, age 65, retired to a nearby alligator farm. The town has said that it hopes to adopt a new resident mascot gator.
