The artist. who died in 2004, created over 100 sculptures around his desert home since 1988, when he moved from Los Angeles. Strange facades, buildings and installations bake in the heat.

- Take Yucca Mesa Rd - go north 5 miles, then east on Aberdeen St 3.5 miles, then north on Border Ave to Blair Lane. turn right. then turn right where it dead ends. then turn left at the paved road which is probably Aberdeen. then at next intersection, I believe that's Center, turn left. Blair Lane appears again, first right. After turning onto Blair Lane, you will see the sculptures on the left. watch out for the hornet's nest in the up-ended windsurfing apparatus.
