Visitor Tips and News About Combine City - Cadillac Ranch in Tractors
Can't we all just be happy seeing a row of half-buried combines?
Combine City is on Claude Hwy. I drive a big truck and travel through there all the time.[George Dillaway, 02/01/2011]
Almost missed this interesting counter-point to Cadillac Ranch. While enough to make us stop and look, it was VERY disappointing that we couldn't walk up to the display due to the barbed wire fence surrounding it.[Drumbabe, 12/30/2010]
There's a sign in the field that announces the place as "Combine City" and that it is -- a dozen combines upended in the corner of a field. No access to the field, so unlike at Cadillac Ranch, it appears spray painters are not invited.[Jenner Bestor, 12/17/2007]
A humorous counterpart to the Cadillac Ranch [only with farm equipment half-buried]. I passed it on the way to Palo Duro Canyon. There was no indication who owned the land or who had created the "attraction."[Sue Miller, 07/04/2006]
