Big Green Dragon
This dragon was built and designed by my brother, Jim Cole. I was going to place a Letterbox near the base of the dragon, but recently found out it is FOR SALE!! So now we wait to see how long it will stay there. They are currently working to remove the concrete slab [from a fireworks store that burned down in 2011], remove all the dirt several feet down and then recompact new soil. Not sure what goes in next. This big fellow has been in our family for over 30 years now. Will be sad when he goes. Will try to keep track of him and where he ends up.

My friends got married at Cove Lake State Park, and after it was over we went to visit the dragon and it's awesomeness! Worth a look!

The Big Green Dragon is still a magical presence, nearly a year after its accompanying fireworks store self-destructed in a pyrotechnic spectacular. All the rubble has been cleared away; the dragon looks less like it's saying "Who, me?"
The parking lot is clean, the building slab ready. It looks primed for a new building to go up. More fireworks, or maybe a geek game store? Your green dragon awaits.
