Big Dragon Statue
It's huge! Next to a fireworks store. A small grassy area surrounds the big Dragon which provides a nice spot to let the kids run around after a long car ride.

My brother Jim Cole of LaFollette, Tn. built this dragon. It is the real thing, built of rebar and fiberglass. He built this in 1986, for his friend Lansdon Hill. The dragon stands a total of 36 feet and is located on Interstate 75 north at exit 134, LaFollette, Jacksboro, and Caryville exit.
So when you drive by and see this, remember Jim Cole built it and you now know the history of it.

Can be seen from Interstate 75 at exit 134 -- or get off at exit 134, for the up close and personal [dragon] experience. There are several fireworks stores, restaurants, some antique firetrucks...etc.
[Charleen Ayers, 11/08/2006]In this photo, the puffy dragon looks like it might be an accursed Inflatable -- although it turns out that it isn't. Good dragon!
