Shasta Lake - Lakehead, California - Screamin' Tub Mannequin We stopped at a truck stop (on I-5 halfway between Redding and Mt. Shasta - Pollard Flat?) and we ate breakfast there. When we went to use the biffy we realized it was a full biffy, bathtub included. In the bathtub was a mannequin (fully dressed) but if you touched her she would yell and it would be heard throughout the restaurant. This provided no end of entertainment to my two sons ages 7 and almost 10. She would yell "Stop It." "Don't do that." "Don't touch me there."
Apparently in talking with the waitress we found out that this mannequin has been there for thirty years. [Claudia Stevens, 12/07/1997]
