The mannequin is still in the tub in the bathroom, but the speakers and such appear broken and are no longer working. Unless you want a mannequin staring at you a foot from where you are using the toilet, this stop is probably not worth your time.

The food in the restaurant looked great though!

Screamin' Tub Mannequin

Take the Pollard Flat Exit (about 34.2 miles from Redding) for an interesting bathroom break. The Pollard Flat USA Gas Station rigged a mannequin in a bathtub to sit up and yell tape-recorded sayings at you as you open the door.

Screamin' Tub Mannequin

We stopped at a truck stop (on I-5 halfway between Redding and Mt. Shasta - Pollard Flat?) and we ate breakfast there. When we went to use the biffy we realized it was a full biffy, bathtub included. In the bathtub was a mannequin (fully dressed) but if you touched her she would yell and it would be heard throughout the restaurant. This provided no end of entertainment to my two sons ages 7 and almost 10. She would yell "Stop It." "Don't do that." "Don't touch me there."

Apparently in talking with the waitress we found out that this mannequin has been there for thirty years.
