Fullerton, California - Fallen David Save a trip to Florence, Italy. This replica of Michelangelo's David fell during the Whittier Narrows earthquake of 1987. Forrest Lawn donated the broken pieces to California State University Fullerton. The pieces are identical in size, material and surface development to Michaelangelo's original. Campus legend has it that rubbing the butt of the "Fallen David" sculpture will bring you good luck on finals. [M. Maki, 02/14/2009]
