Jersey City, New Jersey - Carpet Man The Wilson House of carpet man originally was located on Hoboken Avenue and
State Highway (that's what it is called) in Jersey City. When Wilson House
of Carpet moved, they moved the statue to where it is located beneath the
Pulaski Skyway. In the last few months, plywood replicas of the
Wilson Carpet man have been appearing on Route 440 in Jersey City on their
billboards/advertisments.
