Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe - Vague Recollections It was definitely a shoe store -- my favorite one when I was a kid. When I was four years old and about two and a half feet tall, it seemed to reach half way to the sky, and it made getting fitted for shoes so-o-o-o much fun. My recollection is that it was on Lamar.

piece of architecture about three years ago. I really couldn't understand why. I guess some people call it progress.
