Big Boy statues are not that rare, but this one has been nicely modified to feature a set of brass knuckles on one of his chubby fists. The streetwise Big Boy stands among larger fiberglass characters collected by Bruce Kennedy, visible in the narrow lot next to his business. Acquired in 2015 (when our photo was shot), Bruce is gradually restoring the paint job to the statue.
