From Williston drive west on ALT US 27 for three miles. Turn right (north) onto NE 180th Ave. Drive three miles. Turn left at the Devil's Den sign.

Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring

The Devils Den is gorgeous! They offer snorkeling and diving -- the people who run it are just fantastic. They have bathrooms and hot showers for afterward. Only access is for snorkeling and diving.

A circular underground sinkhole with a wide opening to the surface. Steam rising during winter gave the hole its name. It's impressive to look at -- but lookers aren't allowed. Or swimmers. You're only allowed into Devil's Den if you want to snorkel or scuba. No one under 18 without an adult, no pets, visitors must sign a liability waver, etc.
