The sculpture refers to Genesis 1:27 -- the Biblical notation can be seen on one of the hands.

On the north side of historic downtown Bryan is a small park containing a large steel sculpture depicting Michelangelo's, "The Creation of Adam" from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It is stylized to look like robotic hands.
