Muffler Man/Woman Uniroyal Gal painted up as Nitro Girl. She stands along the Black Horse Pike aka Rt.168 in Blackwood, NJ. The tire station she is at uses nitrogen gas to fill tires, so I would assume that is how she got her name. [Steve Mc, 09/25/2009]

The fiberglass Uniroyal Gal, recently transformed to the superhero Nitro Girl, is complete, and dominating the landscape along US Hwy 30.

We stopped in to take a few pictures, and encountered a group shooting an independent video short at the statue's base. Nitro Girl makes a nice backdrop for a genetics-gone-wild dystopia, but we couldn't tell by their costumes whether that was the theme being explored.... [RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 08/27/2007]
